Puerto Montt was where we had to catch the ferry from - we spent three days here. The fish markets were fun and we had some great seafood including the giant barnacles!
Isla Tenglo had a small hill on it that gave good views of the town. The little launches that took us over and back were cool too.
The only full day we had was spent on a tour that took in Saltos del Petrohue (the waterfalls) in Parque Nacional Vicente Perez Rosales. We had a couple boat rides as well and never got to see Volcan Osorno due to the weather. It was good, but the tour went two and a half hours overtime partly thanks to a second lunch stop of more than an hour for three people who didn't have lunch the first time around.
The last day was spent checking in for the ferry and killing time until the ferry left in the afternoon.
