HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!
The start of a new year, can't believe its gone so quick!
It was well strange not celebrating it in England, a very different experience but great at the same time because of the unexpected arrival of Philippa! So we left Cha Am and headed straight to Bangkok to celebrate her birthday with her. Although when she said Shisha bar, we were kinda imagining something like 'camel bar' in Bournemouth. But nope, this was very very nice , leather sofas, marble, champagne and some very nice and also very presentable people. So we rock up looking like the traveling bums that we are feeling all of a sudden very out of place. Lucky for us everyone was so nice, friends Phil made over her years living in Bangkok , and we had a great night catching up and having a giggle, but we couldn't go any further than the bar as we couldn't get into the club for appearance reasons
New years day we decided we deserved a roast dinner, so we went on a mission around Bangkok to find a roast Turkey dinner - we succeeded and it was awesome!!! We were stuffed and then went to the cinema!. Before we left Bangkok we thought we would treat ourselves to some small guitars because we both want to learn to play, we didn't really consider the fact we would have to carry them everywhere with us for the next 8 months, but never mind they've given us a lot of joy!

Look how brown my hand is!
. But we had an invite for new years eve so we went shopping and brought Daz a shirt and some shoes and got a much needed haircut. It cost like 3 quid and it was brilliant (the experience, not the cut - mine was way lopsided!) you know normally you have that neck crank when you get your hair washed? Here you got to lay on a leather bed-chair thingy and it was so comfy we didn't want to get up!! We had a good new Years eve, with Philli around her friend's house. We toasted the night with champagne and after Phil's friend's house we went to a random party someone was holding and even though we didn't know anyone it was great! One of those 'help yourself to all our booze' nights, we were quite hammered by the time we left! After that we headed out to some random rave which was great but we weren't there long before the police came and shut it down (for the first year since its been running) so that was a bit exciting for us.New years day we decided we deserved a roast dinner, so we went on a mission around Bangkok to find a roast Turkey dinner - we succeeded and it was awesome!!!
