Well, the next train journey wasn't too much fun , mainly because of one Indian Moron who got on the train about 2am and was a pain in the arse for the next 9 hours even though his seat was the next carriage. We all wanted to kill him in the end, even the police we think!!!
Anyway, Agra was a definite must, although we were only there for a few hours in between train and bus journeys , but those few hours were enough for a spot of lunch and many a minute at the famous Taj Mahal. And even though its such a cliche no picture really does do it justice! We wanted to be there at sunrise but, as we are beginning to learn always happens, our train was about 5 hours late arriving so it was a lot busier than we expected. However we took a good few snaps before the camera battery ran out (Typical) and then we got a 5 hour bus to Delhi and the best bed ever!!!!
Although we were here only for two days we managed to take great pleasure in eating in both McDonalds and Pizza hut and it was sooooooo good! We also met some fellow English in a bar and got pretty drunk, we went to the Raj Ghat, the place where Ghandi was cremated and an eternal flame burns 24/7. We also went to the Ghandi museum which was pretty cool and had loads of paintings and belongings and even the bullet that killed him and the clothes that he died in. And finally the Gateway of India. We were good tourists.
