Tallinn is divided into the Lower Town and the Upper Town. Buildings in the Lower Town date back to the Middle Ages. Our full day tour was a visit to the Old Town. Went to visit the Olympic yachting complex in Pirita, the Russian Orthodox Alexander Cathedral. We continued walking along the medieval cobblestone streets to the Gothic Dome Church also known as St. Mary's Cathedral. After a nice lunch at the old town square, we re-boarded our motor coach for a drive to Rocca Al Mare. 18th & 19th century village & farm buildings, windmills & a church. Saw a folkloric show by local performers in their national costumes and had time to browse in the museum's gift shop before returning to Tallinn and back to our ship. It was a wonderful day!
