my in-laws were here visiting, we decided to try and find the apple strudel place as seen on the T.V. show "Samantha Brown's Passport to Europe." The show appears on the travel channel and she had an episode in Prague that aired a few weeks before we moved here. On the show, Samantha finds an apple strudel place that is supposed to have the best strudels in Prague. My step-dad, Tom, found directions on the internet on how to get to this place. On the show she said it was hard to find, and she wasn't lying.
When we were walking to it, we didn't think we were in the right place as it is hidden in a low-income housing development. When we did finally find it, it was like deja-vu. We immediately recognized the owner of the little store. The strudels were just as they appeared on the T.V. show and they were amazing. Each strudel was piping hot and was probably a foot long. The price was nice too, with each strudel costing about $1.50. It was well worth the thirty minute walk from my flat and it was fun to see the place we'd seen on T.V.
