The drive and the day to Rome was a long and tedious one. I wasn't hungover, but everything just took a while.
Because we were arriving to Rome on a Saturday, and spending Sunday there, Vatican City would be closed, so we had to squeeze it in the middle of the day. Later that evening we also did a walking tour around Central Rome, had dinner, then headed in to uor campsite (the worst one of them all)
Vatican City is still the same as it had been 2 yrs ago, although this time I went inside the Sistine Chapel and into St. Peters Cathedral (the main one) It was alright. I personally did not see the point of it all and so wasn't too impressed by either buildings. Then we wandered a bit, ate fatty foods and met Kim. I actually managed to fall asleep at the Church. I found that absolutely awesome!
We were to have the next day free to ourself and b/c I didnt feel lke spending too much money I decided to spend the day with Nick. I bought underwear as usual, he bought shoes and a 90Euro Campbells Soup bag. The day was cool, we had morning coffee, chatted, wandered, laughed, and finally ended up in the pool, had dinner then partied the night away.
One thing I definately realized is that I aboslutely hate dealing with drunk guys! The night was fun, yet nothing too exciting happened. Just mingled with people, met more people from BC. One really nice fellow, names Ryan, is from Kelowna but was saying that he's moving to Vancouver to work on his stand up comedy. Then I also met josh, whosays he's from Perth but I have a hunch that there is some Jewish in him. That night I only had 2 hours sleep, woke up at 5:30am to get ready for the extremely long bus ride to catch the ferry to Corfu, Greece.
