Trip to Corfu was a long overnight one. We left early in the morning to see the ruins of Pompeii city. Pompeii was amazing. It is now the 2nd time that I see the remains that lava has preserved and it still amazes me. After spending 10 Euros on watermelon and pineapple chopped up by the mafia, we got back to the coach and headed straight towards the ferry. the ferry was huge, called the Eleanor Lines. there was a casino, a bar, showers in our rooms, a night club, 3 floors, and sheets and blankets best of all. I shared a room with T, Rosanna and Uta which made it heaps of fun. We showered, then had a craving for Tea. and so as we explored the "view" we made our way to the bar where I got my tea. I went to bed early that evening which made my evening just that much better. I charged my ipod, put photos on my laptop and had a great nights sleep.
The next morning we awoke early and headed straight to the Frini to check-in. All the girls and Brad were in apartments down the street, whereas the rest of the boys were in the actual hotel. Our room was huge, but we had to climb 8 flights of strairs to get there.
Main thing about Greece is that you cannot flugh toilet paper. You much throw away any form of tissues in the bin BESIDE the toilet. Reason is: the sewage lines are too old to handle toilet paper! RIDICK!
We went for a cruise to Corfu Town early in the afternoon. Uta and I stuck together and bought some greek showes, and i bought a pink dress. It was an afternoon I really enjoyed.
for me poersonally it felt extremly weird being i Corfu. I couldn't understand and comprehend that Addy was walking down these same streets just weeks before. In fact, later in th evening after the beach, I went online and hewas on too. We hardly spoke but he was on my mind the entire day. Well anyway, after dinner we all started to get ready for the toga party. That was loads of fun!!! Julia was designing everyone's togas, while Tegan played around in her diaper toga. Finally we all go ready, got our photos all done and headed down for the party. All the guys looked exactly the same; traditional Roman, whereas all the girls did something different with their sheets. It was an ok time, up until I got extremely sick from dehydration and possibly heat stroke. It was a rough and early night for me, although the the next day made it all worth while. We went onto George's Boat for an all day crusie alone the sea, water sports, some skinny dipping and laugther. We got to the water sports center, and signed up for the ones we wanted to do. I did the banada boat, donuts, and best of all wakeboarding! all 3 were absolutely awesome, but it was jsut incredible wakeboarding. As the boat pulled me, while keeping my knees bent, just pure awesomeness. Banana boat was fun but we couldn't even keep on it for a minute. It was quite ridiculous. The Donuts were a ton of fun. I went in between Candace and Amy and ended up being thrown out of the water. When we got back on we decided to go on our stomachs. it was still fun but a little more body throwing. I was worried I was about to knock my teeth out or something.
After the water sports, we went to some beach where we were able to dive off the boat, swim a bit, and play a bit. It was nice, but a bit too cold for full enjoyment.
After that
we went to get naked! Nick jumped in the water first and was firt to wear his shorts on his head. I was definately tempted to, but the water was just too cold. After that we went back to the docks and headed to the Frini for a break only to be followed by a Greek Dinner and Dance show. It was pleasant, but not worth the money. The nexxt day we were awake and travel to Athens.
