Hello everyone,
Hope all that all is good for you! Here it couldn't be better, amazing weather, beautiful housemate, beautiful friends, and a job for saving money which i do!
I'm feeling really lucky to be here, cause i wasn't really ready to come here (probably afraid of coming back in a westernized country), but i feel lucky to have met up with Laeti and Nelly in September in Thailand, firstavall cause they are really good friend, i was happy to hear about all there adventures in Australia, and also because i can be sure that they will always be honest and say the truth! which they did.
They have been traveling around Australia for 10 months and 3 months in South Asia:

I was missing so much China, so many places i wanted to go, all the people i missed so much in Beijing and Russia (which i still do) i was confused after 3 months spent in Chiang Mai, i had a hard time to leave, cause the easy life and the friendlyness of the people and of course my girl friend at the time with who we got a long very well.
Anyway at the end i decided to come here, after 2 weeks spent in Malaysia, which wasn't the best, i had to stay in Kuala Lumpur, caused on my way from the airport and the city i got stolen my credit card and all the money i took out for my staying in Malaysia ( like a real begginer), so i had to stay in a cheap hostel for all time. One girl from couchsurfing supposed to host me but she never did, and after all i was happy enough to stay there and realx with other people i met in the hostel. The people are really interesting and there is such a big mixture of culture, Malay, Indian, chinese, muslam...
So the 2nd of October i was flying to Brisbane ( East coast of Australia about 1000 km north of Sydney )
I made a good move by booking my seat next to the window on the left of the plane, because it was a fly over night and i could admire the beautiful sunrise from 12 000 meters hight, which i experienced once on my way to Sth America over Brazil and never forgotten ( When the sun start coming up, the sky is divided in 2 part 1 dark where you can still see the stars and the other one with the colours orange, pink, yellow, blue of the sunrise) . This time it was amazing too, and we crossed a big part of the country, it was nice to see the infinite variety of scenery.
Finally at 9 am we landed in Gold coast. About 1 hour from Brisbane. Lorraine and Brian ( french and Irish couple ) which who I lived in Ireland the year before are living in Brisbane, they arrived to Australia 2 months after i started my trip, and they always told me if you come we can host you, so here i'am!
They picked me up to the train station and told me let's go and meet up with some friends.
11 am arriving the house of an Irish couples, Oh let's have some few beers ( i didn't ate in the plane either at the airport cause terrified by the prices, my last meal was 15 hours earlier ) after 4 or 5 beers we left their house to go home, had a shower some to eat few friends came over, few beers later we were going out in the city....came back home the next morning at 8 am. I already visited half of the night club of Brisbane in less than 24 hours i arrived:)
Anyway, 6 days later i was starting my new job as a delivery boy for a fruit and vegetables company. The women at the interview asked me if i knew the city and around, and of course i couldn't say no! Luckuly all the guys working there are very nice, i could borrow the GPS from one of them for the first week.
I still work there, poeple are nice and i drive around the city and talk to lots od people everyday which is really cool.
After a month living with Lorraine and Brian I moved into my new house with Manny an australian guy, and honestly i really believe that sometimes in life some things are meant to be, as soon as we met both of us knew that we will become good friends. He grew up in the rain forest 12 hours north of here,in a really remote houses in the mountains where the mentality of people are really different that in the city, very nero minded and pretty racist, his mind was closed, he was angry at all the world and had no ideas of the meaning of life.
When he arrived in Brisbane his mind completly change from 1 extreme to an other, and he suddenly decided to catch up with all this time wasted and to enjoy every seconds of life trying 1000 differents things and talking to as much people as he could. Anyway when he's telling me this i can barely imagine him 5 years ago, today he's one of the most cultivate and open mided person i know, with so much ambitions, he's definetly planning a really good life for himself and people surrending him. He's working with people with mental disability and just started a buisness via internet to promote people who are really passionate in what they are doing ( film makers, musician, drug councillors, meditation master...), which is really ineresting.
Anyway i was planing to move by the coast in january but i will probably stay a bit longer in Brisbane.
That's about it for now, I had a great christmas where i woke up at 6.30 in the morning went cycling to the city had a swim, went for the traditionnal ham and turkey christmas lunch with some irish and canadian people and in the evening i joined a party with some chinese friends.
New year's ev will be in the middle of the forest for a rave party :)
I addded some pictures in the past entries of my blog from Malaysia and Thailand.
Enjoy your life wherever you are...!!!
Love you all :)
Peace
