Just a little mail to say that everything is fine in Beijing after the earthquake, but in some other provinces and especially in Sichuan province, the things are not going so good, the road are blocked, the areas the most damaged are in between the mountains, the bridges are destroyed so the access for the rescue is really hard.
I called the french ambassy to ask if the they were planing to send some volunteers to help there, he didnīt know anything about it, and he told me "ho just get a plane and go there if you want to help" What the hell!!!! one thing i donīt understand about french embassies is, is how they manage to find so many stupid people put them in 1 place and let them talk to other people about something serious!!!! he didnīt even know that the planes for Sichuan were canceled, and that it was not recomended to go there cause of the risk of the repliques.
Anyway apparently the gouvernment is not asking help from any forein countries.
If you know anything about how they recruit people in french embassies please let me know!
