Still alive :)

Hello kids!
As you guess if you receive an email from me, that means that I'm still alive. I've been really lazy on the email, we just enter in the year of rat in China, maybe for me it's gonna be just lazy year :) Since last time i wrote, many things happened. In January i worked in the winter camp, teaching english to young girls and boys who will be volunteer for the olympic game. There was a 1000 students, about 60 chinese teachers and 30 foreiners. Each of the forein teachers had a class of 30 and 2 chinese teachers. I had a really really good time, and learned a lot, it was the best thing who could happen to me, at this time I just arrived in China, and didn't know much people, after this week where we all lived together, I met many people, and it helps me to get to Chinese. The students were really nice, and really open. They are volunteers, and at this training camp, they started classes a 7.30am to finish around 23.00. In each class they were a guy from thwe army police, and every time they went from a building to another they had to be in line 2 by 2 like and walk like soldiers. I was really surprise to see that, but for them it's normal. They are really glad and proud to receive the whole world in their country! the gouvernement too, they keep building and building, and make the cities look so modern. If you want to see some pictures you can go to: http://www.eastwestpics.com/pics/china/beijing/englishcamp/ or http://www.foto-fabrik.ch/component/option,com_ponygallery/Itemid,3/func,viewcategory/catid,6/startpage,1/#category The weather is really nice and the spring is coming quite fast, i was wondering why the weather is always so nice, we had like couple ofg weeks with blue sky everyday, I heard that they were using some product that they throw in the clouds to make them disepear. Basicly they use chemical stuff to make disepear the polution. Anyway it's amazing to have sun everyday. I'm working in a kindergarden, teaching english every morning of the week, I really enjoy it. The kids are lovely, and i even learn Chinese from them. I also teach Buisness english and French to little boy. I just move in a nice flat, very close to the center, it take me 5 min by bicycle to go to work, which is luxury in Beijing. So as you understood, i start a new routine here, but not for very long, just the time for me to learn Chinese and i go, probably about 10 years:) The language is pretty hard, especially to understand, i'm gonna start to go to school very soon. That's all for now, i will give you more news very soon. I liove alone at my place which is quit big so you are welcome any time you want in China. I'm planing in renting it for the olympic games. I pai 1800 RMB/ month wich is 180 euros. I read an article thet a place like mine i could rent it about 100 euros per night, after 2 days i paid 1 month rent! wherever you are in the world, enjoy and take care of yourself ! Peace and Love www.grenius.com Reigo is working for green peace, and he's trying to get on board of the most peace full boat in the world!

Nico, Nico,
it's good to read about you again. I was wandering where you are and how things are going on. I wish I could be in China or at least somehow on my way around the world. But as you know, I am stranded in Belfast. I had some CS guests during the last weeks (to have the international flair... :-) I have to earn money to go on a trip by myself as soo as possible!!!
Hands up and Che... show all
