Hello people,

I came back yesterday morning from a 9 days trip at the baikal lake...It wasn't plan, it's a long story that i will make very short cause i'm really in hurry...
In Ulaanbaatar, I met Jurek from Poland nickname ( Russian commander) this is another long story...
He came to Irkutsk 1 week before me, we planed to meet but we didn't really knew how and when...Anyway my second evening in Irkutsk, we went with Humberto (mi primo de Peru), in a bar call Liverpool, and 30min minutes later Jurek arrive....so we planed to go  2 days later for a week trek between Port Baikal and Sludyanka...this is the old transiberian railway, they finish to build it in 1904....but now transiberian take another road

So we took tent, food and warm clothes, and had a beautifull walk, about 90km...it took us 5 days to walk, we stay the first night in Lydsvianka and the second day we wait all day to cross Angara river by boat...we had a night in Ludsvyanka, in a girl's flat that we met on the way, she receive us in the Russian way, it means trying to do everything for you to fill welcome and to it with a big opened heart,she works in this only train who goes the way we took, so the ext day we went with her for the 6 hours journey and we could see what we accomplished...the last night in the tent was the coldest one...probably -20 cause the wind came from the lake right in front of us....


Anyway i will tell you more and put some pictures of this trip later, cause i'm late for appointment...
Tomorrow i will go to Khabarovsk trying to get the Chinese visa, and then Vladivostok trying to finally cross the Chinese border....I didn't realize that Siberia is 5000 km from moscow, but there is still 4000 left to Vladivostok...

The Baikal Lake is really a wonderfull place....and huge, it looks like the sea...
