Hello,
Just a short message to let you know that i'm still alive.
I left St Petersburg Friday evening by hitchiking with Gosha, with who i was living for 3 days.
They are 2 girls from Poland studying here, and they were living in same flat with Rusya.
It was a long night to arrive a the festival, we got 1 car who took us 1/3 of the way, very funny guy in a very old Lada, and then the magical thing happen, the "Elba trans va" stopped, with Karisha, Lucya ( my first host from couchsurfing in St Petersburg) and lots of people i already met there,we where about 15 in the van.We arrive at the festival around 3 im the morning
We were for 5 days in Elba..It was in the middle of the forest. It was just amazing. they have it 3 times a year, winter, spring and automn...
There are so many festival like this one in Russia, the country is so big that you can just camp where ever you want.
I'm already thinking about going back next summer for the Rainbow festival, it is every year in a different city of Russia. It's a very big event!

It is such a peacefull place, we were completely out of the civilisation, i can't say how many we were but something like few hunreds, i've planed to stay only 3 days but of course i had to stay more, and every morning we were taking the bath from the holy source...cold but so good...
We went back with Fromasia by hicthiking to Povarovka it's about 1 hour from Moscow, it took us a bout 12 hours, with many adventures, like this truck driver who had to stop every hour to screw down 2 of the tires otherwise we lost them, or the police control where we had to give them money to let us go ( by the way policeman must be the richest people in Russia, they earn in corruption money for a bad day no less than 50 dollars, but usually they go up more than 150 dollar a day, and for Russia it's a very big money, and because i'm from France and Fromasia from Bishkek in Kyrgyztan so we had to pay extra money, for a while we thought that we will never make it to the flat. We didn't know excatly where was the place where we should sleep, it's a hippie community, people we met at the festival, the drivers missed the place and stop us 15 km further it was 3 in the morning and we were really tired, so we hitchiked the other way again torward St Petersburg, and a excursion bus stop, it stop us to the place, but still 6km to walk threw a small forest road, and after half way 2 young guys (drunk) stoped to bring us there, i thought we will get into a trie many time but it didn't happen, i guess that luck is following us, and finally we are here.
I wanted to go to Moscow tomorrow for 5 days but i will go to Kazan with Natasha we just met here, to visit some temples and some holly places . It's about 12 hours train on the transiberian railway, and then back to Moscow cause i really want to visit the city. Afterwoods I should meet another friend from the festival and hitchike with her to her place in Oural, and then go to Siberia.
I have only 1 month and I'm so disapointed...it's only 10 days i'm here but it feels like 2 month, i've met so many people and the same people again and again at 1 thousand km from the first place....i don't even use couchsurfing to find host anymore, i already have places in Oural and Siberia...:)
I still don't have time to put pictures, but it will come at some stage.
Wish you all the best.
See ya
