Hello,

I arrive Monday in Russia....
Waaaaoooooo!!!!!!!
If people told before that Russia was like that, i would have come much earlier :)
I am hosted by Karisha. but also Lucy, and Rasha,and lots of others people. and I met her friends about 50 of them, I saw St Petersburg, i an amazing way, from the roof of the 28 floors building where they like to make party there. with the full moon it was amazing...i will enter the pictures very soon.
St Persburg is a beautifull city, but i think you need at least 1 month if you want to visit half of it.
There is so many museum, churches, castles....and some amazing buildings...when you standing front of them it really give you goose bomb, you can close your eyes and imagine what can have happened in this kind of places during the last century and before with Peter the Great, who was i think, a genius.
It's like if the time have stopped, it seems that all the city has been build around this beautifull palace or building.

So i'm having a very good time.
I had this feeling when i took the visa, that 30 days will be very little, it's only 4 days i'm here and i don't want to go.
Tomorrow we are going to this hitchicker meeting.
It started in 1999 2 guys were hitchecking and found this spot in the middle of the forest between St Petersburg and Moscow, and they tought why not making a festival here. 
It will be music festival, and lots of people coming from all over the country and borders countries by hitciking.
It's also since recently, a couchsurfing and hospitality club meeting.

Since i letft Ireland all most 3 weeks ago, i only been sleeping in couchsurfers places.Of course for free, that's the  idea behind this website, but the most amazing part, it's the people you meet.....to be honest there is no words to explain it...you should try it....you won't believe what people have done for me, and they knew me only for few hours....I find myself in some places sometimes, like if i was living in that city for 20years, i've been driving car, bycicle, having keys from flats and be on my own, 1 places even with a sauna in the flat in the middle of old Taalinn...thanks Thibaut;)... meeting friends and famillies, beeing in the middle of  St Petersburg on the roof of the building at night time with 25 people i just met at the hitchicking meeting they have every week in a flat, swiming in the baltic sea in the evening time...it's just beautifull...
Today i was with Karisha, and for her lunch break she took me to another roof by the river Neva about 60meters high, where you can see all the monuments, we had sandwich, yogurt, a little chat about life few pictures and she went back to work...

The places closing now i have to go.
