W saw Washington DC! We were both very exited about seeing the city and I thought it would be really cool to see the famous buildings like the Lincoln Memorial and the White House. And it was except for the fact that we were jetlagged and therefor nothing seemed real. I can still not believe that we saw all those building but it didn't feel like much while we were there - we were just too tired. And dirty too, on the pictures you can clearly see that I just came from a 21 hour flight.

We didn't see all that much of DC because we only had about 2 hours. The city is amazing, in the area where the White House is there is all these huge, old building. Most of which I have no idea what they are. But we did see the White House. And the Lincoln Memorial. That was great, we walked along the pond  (which Forest Gump ran into) to the Memorial Building. Its a great place with a very spiritual atmosphere.
We also went to the Washington Monument. That was amazing. We were there at dusk and it was amazing to stand in the circle of flags looking up at the monument.
