the first waterfall, misol-ha wasnt far from town, just enough time for me to fit in a quick snooze.... then felt like a tourist as we all ooohed and arghed at a pretty waterfall about 20-30m high, a few metres wide.

you could actually go behind. it felt lovely on your face. a cool, fine mist.

40 minutes away is agua clara. it really is just a muddy fast moving river. but we have obviously been brought here to scare ourselves by crossing the índiana jones stylee bridge´.

their are huge holes in the wood, and even a few planks missing. added are the slippery planks and the odd banana skin...and its..well fun!
the last waterfall on our totally tourist trip was agua azul. we were dropped here for 3 hours as its that big. it powers its way through the jungle for a fair distance, whipping off in different directions.

the power is immense, and we get to swim in one safe pool. not sure if ryan and i would have been better trying to save ourselves if anything had happened as the young lifeguard didnt appear to be awake! it felt so refreshing, and warm!??
unfortunately matt couldnt come with us as his phone had been stolen the night before, and he had to go and sort it all out. showed him pictures, and he seemed ok as he booked his flight hom for end of november, a few weeks after lukey arrives...so he can have a bit more travel on his own...then home to his love. i am lucky , my parents are sending my hero. lukey b to be out here with me...counting down the hours....
