as its only 7 am when we arrive our hosts are very kind and let us sleep in the new dorm they have built.   they had a wedding at this beautiful hostel last night, and i think they all have a sore head, and are looking forward to a bit of time before they have to think about tidying up....

a few hours later matt and i rise and check out our new surrondings.  we are surronded by hills which range in colours due to the trees that grow high and thick on them.  the air is clear and fresh, you can see all the way down into the valley.  so romantic.  this is where i start to think about my own wedding with lukey.  would he like somewhere like this?  i write him a long letter talking through all my ideas...

we decide to have a lazy day, due to us running around like headless chickens for the last few days. there is a baptism in the pool, and then a birthday party at the hotel, so we just laze on the viranda in hammocks, and get mad on the internet when things dont load quickly. (i apologise if these blogs dont appear often.... the internet is very slow here...and loses things for you!).  we end the day daydreamin with the views.

on monday October 6th.  tis little dude´s bday.  i make him a quick birthday message.  i hope he gets it.  i wish i was with him.  birthdays are important to me and i hate missing them.
we catch a ride in a beetle down to the town centre.  everyone has beetles over here...i think vw sponsors mexico!  its a lovely little city, with some cool buildings and churches. the cathedral

we wander the streets, not looking for anything in particular, seeing churches here and there, and families and friends catching up.  we comment how safe we feel, and how we feel like we have landed in mexico!  we find a small cafe restaurant recommended in the guidebook.  we sit outside in a small garden, which has parrots and other exotic birds sitting right beside you... is madness! bird in a restaurant

another lazy day, so we head back up to the hostel, eat (not a taco in site...woo hooo), and wrap up in our hammocks... i wish lukey b was here.
