So today we drove through Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The Sequoia groves are amazing. These are the biggest trees in the world. Im not talking about height, but width...their trunks are just HUGE. The redwoods are taller, so we are going to go see them in a few days on the coast. Anyways, it was somewhat overcast and the weather forecast was calling for rain and snow this afternoon. So we stopped and got a room in Fresno, CA instead of driving to Yosemite...we will do that all day tomorrow. Then its either to Tahoe or back to the coast, depending on what we feel like doing. Why you ask?? Because we dont have to make any plans. :) Check out the pics...General Sherman did not disappoint. Check in with us tomorrow and see where end up tomorrow night....Kara and Chris

the pic's are great. gigantic trees, and so beautiful. we have been to yosemite long,long ago.when i viewed the photos i think we have been to the sequoia's also, because i have one picture in my mind of your mom standing by the largest tree i had ever seen in my life.what a trip you both are having. you will have such wonderful memories.
