Hey guys, its been a few days, but we have been busy seeing the sights of beautiful California.  After a fun bbq at Shelley and Bane's we woke up the next morning and were trying to get on the road, but Banning is just too cute. After watching some tv with him and Shelley and hangin out we were finally off and headed south to La Jolla for a bit.  The weather was absolutely gorgeous, and it was the perfect day to just roam around the town, which is what we did. Of course taking a lot of pictures along the way.  After La Jolla it was back to Covina and out to dinner with Nana at a really good Mexican restaurant (except for Chris' Margarita...the worst he has ever had).  We got home just in time to catch some American Idol...we are so tv deprived.  The next morning it was time to pack the car again and head north up the Pacific Coast Highway.  More to come in a bit..... just looked at the pictures again of lajolla. beautiful, beautiful.i'll be happy to see them again on a big screen when i come to VA.hope you are having a great time up north. i open my computer every morning to chris and kara.so much fun!!

Great La Jolla memories!
Chris and Kara,

I LOVE THE PICTURES OF THE SEA LIONS!!! Our family has such great memories in La Jolla. My favorite, though, was when my friend Tina, my dad, and myself decided to swim through this huge cove/tunnel. When we were in the middle, swimming through, the tide came in and the cove/tunnel filled with water. Though we were swimming like hell, we felt like we were in a washing machine. Papa pushed Tina and I through! We were 16 and my dad was our hero. Ya know, Chris, dad and I spent our 1st Anniversary in La Jolla at the La Valencia. We have a picture from that trip that is almost exactly the same shot as one of your pictures. We're headed to Atlanta this weekend for some more JMU softball! Have fun and keep on blogging!
