Pacific Coast Highway Day #1. We started off in Covina and just headed west to the ocean and turned right. We began the day by driving through Venice beach and Santa Monica with the famous pier. As we drove through Malibu it became somewhat overcast, which was too bad because we didnt get a chance to see the houses high on the hills which im sure were gorgeous. As we continued north, the weather became better and the sky turned blue and the sun came out. We decided to stop in Santa Barbara for lunch, and you can drive out on the pier there, which is what we did. We walked around a little bit in the little shops and watched the people fishing, and decided on a little rooftop cafe for lunch. After lunch we were off again headed north through numerous small beach towns and on towards San Luis Obispo for the night. We met up with Chris' cousin Brad in SLO and grabbed dinner at Woodstock pizza (it was pint night :) After dinner back to Brad's house to watch Lost that we had missed last week and play a little beer pong. Chris and Cara, it was nice seeing you on your way through So Cal. I am glad that you included a pic of Mobile Land. Only problem is. now that the visitors to this site see how high on the hog we Californians live they will rush to SoCal and get themselves a single wide and park the damn thing right next to me. Sorry folks, were all filled up here. Go somewhere else to get your little slice of paradise. Gotta go. I need to put some air in the tires on my house,hose off the plastic flowers and get the clothes off the line before Jerry Spriger comes on. Bubba says hey.
