Death Valley...its really pretty in March when its only 75 degrees and not 120. From Aunt Isabel's she drove us the hour to Death Valley National Park in California to show us around the Southern tip of the park. We did the quick driving tour of the Valley and walked up to Zabriskie Point and got some beautiful pictures from there. She suggested we get up early to see the sun rise from the point, but we just laughed and said we were on vacation and that we could see it with the sun already up. We drove down to the valley which is 190 ft below sea level (gas below sea level is waaaaaaaaaay more expensive. $4.41) After snapping some great pictures, we went back to Aunt Isabel's house so we could get back on the road. On the way back we stopped at the Amargosa Opera House to take some pics. This was a old run down Opera house that was recently redone by Marta Beckett....pretty impressive in the middle of the desert. Back on the road again and off to Joshua Tree National Park......Kara and Chris
