We made it to White Sands, New Mexico just before sunset. This is the by far the coolest National Park that we have seen yet. It looked like it snowed in the middle of the desert. We had to rush in but I am sure that you will love the pictures that we took because I know we did! I hope you all enjoy these sites and if you ever get the chance to make it out here then you have to take a detour to White Sands. We are staying in the small town of Alamogordo, NM. Here are the pictures of the shady hotel again we are staying at. At least the price is right, but hopefully our stuff is still here in the morning. Hope you all are doing well!

Looks like you guys are having a great time, you inspire me to stop working for the man for a little while and hit the road. I loved the pics from Carlsbad and White Sands. Ruidoso, NM
Hey kids. Did you get a chance to go to Ruidoso, NM? It is northeast of Alamagordo and it is in the mountains. I went there several years ago and we rode our dirt bikes for five days on single track trails surrounding Ruidoso. It is also the home of Ruidoso Downs, a famous horse race track. Keep the rubber side down.

These are about the only things I miss about CA - - that and the In n Out Burgers! {grin}
