Well folks chalk another one up for the Road Warriors! We are just leaving Hobie's and had a wonderful night. It all started with my co-pilot Kara taking the brunt of the driving for the day. I took the morning shift and then turned the wheel over to her for the rest of the trip. We started off with some perfect timing getting into town. We arrived right as Hobie got off of work, went back to her place and immediately cracked a cold one. After 8 hours at work for her and 8 hours of driving for us it was a refreshing escape. After sitting around and talking for a bit/giving directions to Kristian (even though he has a Garmin) we headed off to dinner. Since Whitney grew up around the area we took her advice for picking a restaurant. She said we had to go to Zea's (Whitney's Heart second next to Walmart). I wish she would have told us that it was on the other side of Mobile though. We were expecting a nice 10 min drive to the restaurant, but 35 mins later we finally arrived. Luckily the food did not let us down

Dinner Crew
. Whitney and Kristian were kind enough to drive extreme distances just to come have dinner with us....we feel special. Kristian drove 3 1/2 hours and drive back that same night! After dinner all of us minus Whitney went back to Hobie's to enjoy some adult beverages. I came up with a new name for an old favorite, Sunrise Earth was born. After teaching Hobie how to use her new TV we watched Superbad in Blueray. She didn't know that when you buy and HDMI cord you actually have to use it for it to work. She was impressed by its upgraded quality from the standard A/V cables. After some good old McLovin' quotes we hit the hay. Hobie was such the hostess and woke up in the morning and made us coffee and biscuits. A nice start to another adventurous day. We are now in Louisiana heading to a Bayou tour. We figured we would get out there and play with some gators! Tonight we are staying in the French Quarter and going out in New Orleans! So much happening and such little time....haha. Well its time to make some turkey sandwiches for lunch and then hopefully we aren't gator bait later. Hope you all are doing well and we will have more stories tomorrow on our way to Austin to visit Lauren and Adam. Thanks again to Hobie for your hospitality.Chris and Kara
