Spent the morning rushing around like a chook with its head off. Guy and Lucette arrived to pick us up at 2pm, and we drove in our Falcon to the airport. They were going to house sit for us.  Seemed appropriate having French folk in our home while we were in France.

Our flight was a bit late taking off and by the time we arrived we were both very hungry, so we hot footed it over to The Sydney International Airport Motel which was quite nice, and more importantly had a restaurant where we satisfied our hunger pangs...salmon for H & lamb cutlets for me. While waiting for the meal we got chatting to a rather loud colourful chap named Reg Aiken from Young. He was on his way to Canada with a group of chaps (and one female) to drive Headers from Canada to Texas and harvest corn along the way.  No doubt there will be a lot of good stories to tell on the way. I reckon the Americans will love him!
