Corfu Greece was our next stop. We did not take any organized tours today, but just went into the city to explore. Again we found a little train to take us around. The city was small, and they had some archeological digs going on. Their castle had 899 steps going up to it (no we did not walk them!) and was an imposing figure on the hill. Corfu was a nice little port town where we did some window shopping for a while. We also stopped in at McDonalds and had some fries. McDonalds in each country is different, this one sold beer! That evening was LaFonda's birthday! After dinner, the waiters sang Happy Birthday to her (made Kyla sound good!) and had a little cake. It was a fun evening, one she will remember.
