Tendering into Greece

Today we arrived in Navplion Greece. We had to tender into shore, which means we took the lifeboats in to the port since the ship could not dock. The seaside was beautiful, with old forts guarding the entrance. We took a small train on wheels for a tour around the city. The history narration was good, and we drove by some of the statues and important places of the city. The kids took the time to dip their feet in the Mediterranean, and we stopped at a small local outside café for a snack. Besides a plate of French fries, the boys tried fried squid. Interesting taste!
