After spending a week in Vancouver and the Island, Kailey met up with me (Amanda). We spent the day eating (Joe Fortes rocks!) and walking around with Riley, Steve-o and A-ron. We boarded our first plane which was heading to Hong Kong at about 2 am. Our first plane which was through Cathay Pacific was incredible! Each seat had soo much leg room plus a personal tv which you could watch movies, play video games and other entertaining things! Kailey kicked my ass at Yahtzee! To top that off the service was fantastic. This definitely made this 13.5 hr flight zoom by. Once we made it to Hong Kong, Kailey's insanely beautiful aunt met us at the airport and we took a bus to their place at Discovery Bay on Lantau Island. Our lay over was about 8 hours so we spent that time with her aunt and uncle wandering a bit and eating...most importantly showering. We got on to our next flight which was at about 3:30 pm which was also through Cathay Pacific. This flight was hell! The service sucked and there was nooo leg room at all. So after about 11 hours of listening to the burping lady that sat across the isle from us, attempting to sleep and being air sick, I can say that we were both super excited to finally reach New Zealand!
