Bon jour,

It is Christmas time once again...and in Paris it is freezing cold. I can't wait to get back home to Texas. Brea and I are leaving Paris on Sunday Dec. 19 and will be back and forth between Temple and Austin until our departure back to Paris on Jan. 2. I think the first thing we want to do is eat some tex-mex, BBQ and bubba burgers, then i want to watch some American football and drink some Budlight by the Christmas tree. We are having a blast in Paris even if it is really cold and wet right now. I am all done with my first semester of classes at my photography school. I am currently working as a photographer for a fashion agency in Paris, still doing freelance photography for le Figaro newspaper and am in the process of creating a new web site for my Paris portfolio. It has been a great first four months in France. We have had some family and friends come to visit us and plan on having more next year. Our friend Jeremy Smith, is here in Paris right now and we are showing him all the sites. I took him to the Louvre yesterday and then to Angelina's to drink their world famous hot chocolate. Then we walked around Montmarte to check out the red-light district and see the Moulin Rouge. Tomorrow we are going ice skating under the Eiffel Tower at night. This is the first year the have a huge ice skating rink under the tower. On Thanksgiving we volunteered at the American Church of Paris and served food to all the guests. Afterwards we got to eat as much turkey, dressing and all the fixins of a normal American Thanksgiving meal. The next night a bunch of our friends had a pot luck dinner with turkey and pumpkin pie. It was amazing how easy it was to have Thanksgiving overseas. E-mail me and let me know what your plans are for Christmas and New Years. Hopefully we can catch up on things and see each other during the holidays. Take care and enjoy the photos.
