The train journey passed without any events apart from actually arriving early and we've had another couple of days on a beach (it's a hard life), this time in Colva, Goa. We only chose Colva because it was the nearest beach to the train station and we're moving on tomorrow. While the beach is gorgeous and not crowded (unexpected bonus) there is a bit of a BA (Brits Abroad) atmosphere - my travel snobbery is obviously kicking in again!!
Another expensive (if you can call £8 expensive) and yet pleasant dinner - pleasant again because of the presence of alcohol (booze is so much cheaper and more prevalent in Goa - different licensing laws) and also because we met an extremely amiable Northern Irish guy. He had been dreaming of travelling round India since he was 18 and now 40 years on he is fulfilling that dream, It's the one thing I'm determined to not let pass me by - the pursuit of a dream (and I know that sounds cheesy!). Yes, I'm fulfilling one now as I write (travelling the world) but any other dreams that come up, I'm making a resolution to follow until I either succeed or fail.
