Today was amazing...so was yesterday...it gets more amazing everyday. Yesterday was raining so we decided to check out some caves...normal yes? Si. The caves were awsome...swinging from ropes, waist deep in water most of the time, swam in a waterfall, crawled through small spaces, got a facial - mmmm mud - and hiked back in ankle deep mud to the park where we started...which just happened to have a big pool and some water slides. Then we had to flag down a bus that would take us back to Tena soaking wet. Fun times.
As great as yesterday was, today was even better. Spent the day white water rafting. It was madness... class IV... waterfalls, swimming, rock jumping, hard paddling, delicious lunch - with fresh pineapple AND chocolate cake! - beautiful jungle scenery, a decent hike in lots of mud to the river, hike into a cavern to swim around a waterfall - I got stuck in the current and Bryce couldnt save me, but we had a great guide who saved my life several times. The whole experience was exciting and new and it was like floating through paradise. The whole trip was topped off by a beer in the van for the ride home. Gracias River People.
We went both to the caves and rafting with two guys from England that we met on the jungle tour last week and hopefully we´ll get some pictures from them soon.
Tomorrow we leave Tena - Bryce is sad - and embark on our next adventure in Baños - Kali is excited.
