Road Trip from Byron Day 4
Waking up nice and early I did my exercise routine and headed out to get the new radiator hose. Once obtained I quickly had us on the road with the 300 purring nice and cool leaving Newcastle and heading south to Catherine Hill Bay to check out its lovely beach. The sunny day made for blue waters and gentle breezes, which made for a great little walk to a fishing hole at the north end of Cathos. Its set up in the headland with a deep cut in the rocks that the allows swells roll to and and from the sea. We didn't have fishing poles, so K Ching and I settled for canned tuna and cheese sandwiches. After the Cathos stop we continued to Gosford to revisit Andy and Lisele Ellis. Andy and I BBQed and joked around. Another old friend, Kyle Portbury and his wifey came by for a bit. Much laughter and burgers were had. Kyle was telling us about his film project producing a piece about the late Marvin Gaye. He is making it in a tough business and I am excited for him. Remember the name Kyle Portbury.

Developing your culinary skills eh??? Can't wait to test out your prowess upon your return to CA !!
Tell me about Cathos and the cut in the Rock. Looks beautiful. Is there any historical significance other than the beauty of the nature?
What's your next adventure hot spot and should I know who K Ching is????
Miss you - Just returned from a week of boarding with Rocky ... show all
