The fiesta  and swell has come and gone. So now I have time to short through some photos on the dig and type out a quick description of this last week. The boys and I got really lucky to score waves at this time of the year. We surfed a couple of spots on the surrounding islands. You take water taxis to the spots and they come back in 2-4 hours. By the time they come you have caught more than enough waves and are too exhausted and dehydrated to think straight. We surfed this left and right reef at the peak of the swell. Bit over head. Speaking of heads a kook who didnīt know how to duck dive smashed his head into the back of mine. Dazed but not fazed I kept surfing. The crowd left and we were by ourselves. I loved it. We surfed the other spot called Wizards Beach which requires you to walk through a little village called Basitmientos. It has no road. Just a side walk that parallels the shore. You walk through the village having rastas watch you and little brown kids running around. Very malibu rum comercial like Busted

. You then enter the forrest and climb some hills to cross the island and enter the beach. That trail claimed many flip flops in the mud. It even claimed me once much to the amusement of local farmer. The beach has no permanent structures. Only golden sand, a virgin forrest and some huts can be seen. Surfed the warm clear waters over a nice sand bar. I had one of my best sessions there on my magic little fish surfboard. I love that thing. It goes so well.
The fiesta was tramatizing. It started out well until Kenny, Scotland and I bought some tickets from a breast feeding mother. We jammed ourselves into this little cage on the ferris wheel. It was all good until we tried flipping it around in a complete three sixty. We got stuck upside down with all of our bodies crushing our heads. We were laughing and then screaming for the ride to stop. I panicked. I thought I was going to passout and choke on my own vomit that I was sure to come. Four minutes latter we we laughing our head off. Moral of the story donīt ride ferris wheels in a developing country with a crazy little viking and scottish kid. Lots of food and lots of dancing somes up the rest of the fair.
Bocas has been so much fun. I loved the crowd I with at the hostel and I loved the area. Its going to be hard to leave here.

Barrels!
Blugh! I just barfed thinking about being upside down for 4 minutes. I've heard of Bocas, sounds sick man, thank God for the Fish! We are starting to get swell here again, woo hoo. Uppers with 500 of my best friends I don't know. Panama sounds like a dream man. Keep the stories coming.
