I have learned that when it comes to Africa, there are very rarely any happy mediums. Usually the showers are cold, but right now, my shower is disastrously hot. I can't stand under it, it is scolding, and that is just with the cold tap turned on! (yes I have tried the other tap, they are both hot). My current mode of showering now consists of holding a small jug under the too hot shower, filling it half way, then walking to the basin, filling it the rest of the way with cold, returning to the shower, pouring the jug over myself, repeat ad nauseum until I no longer smell like a Nimbin feral.

I have just spent 2 days in my old village that I lived in last time I was here. The african people love to feed you, but they were being particularly aggressive about it this time, I later learned the reason "to make you fat again, like you were last time you were here". Trying to undo all my hard work.....

It is time for me to get my ever widening bum out of this cyber cafe, as I am catching a bus into Uganda very shortly.
