So I rocked up at the airport in Mauritius for my flight to Nairobi. More surprises, my flight is going via Antananarivo. My response was the same as yours - where the f#$@ is that?!?!?! Apparently it is the capital of Madagascar.

Mauritius, being an island, is pretty big on seafood, but even so, I was not expecting curried fish for breakfast! After brekkie, started reading the Air Mauritius magazine, and an article about how octopi are the lifeblood of their economy. Low and behold, Octopus for lunch. We're not talking about the little baby octopus that Cara loves to chow down on either.....
