Today we drove through Dartmoor National Park to Glastonbury to visit the Abbey ruins where supposedly King Arthur and Guinevere were buried. Were actually really awesome ruins. Saw the spot of the supposed 'tomb' of Arthur and Guinevere and the Abbots Kitchen which was still intact. There is also a famous thorn tree there which originated from a tree that grew when Joseph of Arimathea plunged his staff into the ground and it burst into leaf (the tree is one of a kind and Mediterranean-so maybe....). Was kinda cool. :)

We drove through Cheddar Gorge on the way to Bath. At Bath went through the Baths again. But this time got to go to the Pump Rooms for lunch!!! Was fantastic!!! Being a Jane Austen fan it was cool to eat somewhere so often mentioned in her books. Had lunch with Susan (my seat mate on the bus) and Richard and Anne-a fantastic couple from Perth I met on the tour. Was going to try 'the medical pump waters' (also mentioned in JA Books) but they talked me out of it. Susan has tried it and apparently it tastes terrible. The look on the faces of the people drinking it also put me off. No one finished their glass! LOL.

Arrived in Bristol quite late. Had a city tour with a local guide but was so tired I didn't take much in-so sorry can't tell you much about Bristol. Had a nice farewell dinner at the Hotel.

Is the last day of the tour tomorrow. :(
