Had a morning tour with the same awesome guide as last night. He has actually written a book. So had to buy it-if it is as funny as he is it will be a great read. And am short on reading material. So win-win.
Anyway went up to Hradcany Castle and saw the changing of the guards. Have now seen the changing of the guards everywhere now EXCEPT at Buckingham Palace. Think am doomed to not see it there. Also saw the church by the Castle. Was pretty much like most churches in Europe. Except that it took 1000 years to build from 1019-1919 (I kid you not)!
Then headed down to the Old Town and Square and saw the oldest operational Synagogue in the world and also the famous Astronomical Clock. Was good to see. All the moving parts was cool. And it is what Prague is famous for. But you know, my favourite is still the Poznan Clock and those head-butting goats. Can't beat 'em.

Had free time for a couple of hours to shop! YAY! Brought some crystal. Well I am in Prague. It would be wrong not to after all!

Met back up with the tour group for a lunchtime cruise on the River Vltava that runs through Prague. Lunch was nice and the views were fantastic. Got to go through two lochs which was fun! (OK so it was really one-there and back). :)

Then had more free time for shopping! Nearly spent loads of money but managed to restrain myself. Have been pretty good most of the trip......

Had dinner at a local restaurant-not so great and a very long wait. Food in Eastern Europe on a whole is pretty terrible unfortunately.

By the way-Prague is not just famous for crystal but also for garnets and jewellery-so ladies be prepared to be tempted!!
