Started on journey to Prague. Spent pretty much all day driving with a lunch stop in Dresden. Dresden is actually very beautiful. It was completely destroyed during WW II, but they rebuilt it as it had been and it looks amazing. The church they rebuilt using the original blocks where they could. You can see which they are as they are a different colour. Had a fantastic lunch at a cafe there (great cakes in Germany!).

Continued on towards Prague. Got stuck in a massive traffic jam so the journey took way longer than expected so instead of getting into Prague in the afternoon it was almost dark. We then picked up a local guide for a city tour. Prague looks interesting with some great old buildings. We stopped off at a monastery on top of a hill (Castle Hill?) overlooking the town, for a Czech beer. Then off to the Old Town for a walk around and across the historic Charles' Bridge etc. Was nice. Prague isn't as well lit up as Budapest so you don't see as much but was great to check it out. The guide was bloody hilarious! Spent the whole tour laughing my arse off. Very good at taking the piss out of Communism, Prague, Czech Republic but at the same time being very informative and interesting. Cool guy.

Still have the flu. And still have a weird fever. So off to bed early for me!
