Today we drove from Geiranger to Ottadalen and visited the traditional Stave Church at Lom circa 11th Century. It was amazing and well worth a visit. Beautifully made and the viking symbols had to the uniqueness of it. Lom is a cute town.

We then drove onto Lillehammer. Not as spectular scenery on the way so slept for a bit as was feeling very tired. Had an excursion at Lillehammer to the Folklore Museum of Maihaugen-it is a park of traditional houses and buildings with a museum attached. Very cool. Lots of wonderfully unique buildings. The guide from the museum was fantastic-very interesting and hilariously funny!

We then headed to the Olympic arena/ski jump used during the Olympic Games. Got to go up the chairlift and see the great views of Lillehammer and look down the ski jump.As we were leaving we got to see the young ski-jumpers doing their jumps-the jump has a special turf on it so it can be used without snow in summer. Was amazing watching them do it. Looks like a real adrenelin rush!

Had dinner at the hotel. Was actually very nice-one of the better meals we have had. The hotel is also very nice. Would definitely stay there again.
