Yesterday spent a long day on the bus driving to Nice. Stopped off in Cannes for an hour in the afternoon. Nice waterfront at Cannes but wasn't that impressed with the rest of it. We arrived quite late at Nice so went straight to the restaurant for dinner.

Today we went on a half-day excusion to a Perfumery up on the Corniches Road in the French Riveria. Was very interesting at the Perfumery-got to see how they once made perfume and how they make the soaps etc.

Went to a medieval village nearby-was amazing. Had amazing views at the top (just wish I could remember it's name!). Had a great lunch at a traditional  french restaurant nearby. They gave us a traditional but potent alcohol digestive at the end to help you digest your massive lunch. Horrible tasting-but think it actually worked!

Had some free time in the afternoon to look around Nice. ran into the american girls from the Meditterean tour and had dinner with them which was fun.
