Company Finally
Well we finally have some neighbors, Gayla & David from Alberta, Canada. They came in day before yesterdy while we were off traveling south to Melaque & Cihuatlan. We needed more dinero and some provisions so we drove 60 miles to the nearest 'big' town to find a bank and what turns out to be a Wal Mart. Not a Wal Mart like in the states, but it was a division of Wal Mart. Wal Mart was printed on the receipt and we recognized some of their products. Had any and everything you'd need, but just on a smaller basis.
Cow & Brahma Bull
Playa Negrita
We haven't had a chance to really get to know our new neighbors yet as we returned pretty late after picking up our laundry and returning from our shopping duties. The RV park does not provide an on site washer and dryer, but the hotel does offer laundry service. Too expensive for our taste. So we dropped off our laundry at a little lavaderia on the hwy. 12.5 kilos worth of laundry washed, dried and folded up for only $11. Totally worth it and it all smells so nice. Young Snorkelers
We took the boat again yesterday but we're having some motor problems so we just headed over to our cove again. No snorkeling this time as we didn't bring our gear, but we met up with a couple of young men who were snorkeling/diving for oysters, snails & octupus. Ken is currently working on the motor to see why is doggin' out.
Pelicans
Met a young man named Chino from Montebello / Monterey Park. His mom owns a local hotel and RV Park. He's been living here for about 14 years. He manages the RV park and is a fisherman. Also does many odd jobs around town. Thinking of using him to wash & wax the fifth wheel. Quoted me a price of $600 pesos (about $46). I think it's a deal!
I promised you some observations:
1. Lots of dogs running around. Most un-neutered.
2. Hardly any cats (makes you wonder what's in those tacos! LOL)
3. We can't drive fast enough around here. Everyone passes us up on the hwy. And sometime around curves!
4. Everyone is very friendly. Even with our broken spanish.
5. Everyone ready & willing to help you out.
6. Dinner out very affordable. We'll go to a taqueria and have a taco (which acually makes two small tacos, a quesadilla and a beer each for about $5- $6.
I'll end with my weather report.....hardly any humidity anymore (yeah!), a nice breeze blowing and currently 86 degrees at 12:45pm.

Hey guys, looks like your having a good time.
When Chino is done with your unit, have him come over and do the same for my RV! So, your engine not doing so good. Why not just use the paddles and get some free exercise. Have you two set a return date?
Kim and I did a 1,000 mile weekend motorcycle trip with four other riders last weekend. Up to Eureka then over to Mount Lassen via hwy 299. Then up hwy 36 along Feather river. Awesome ride and great views.
Take care,
Stan
