Hello from Nice
just saying a quick hi. Nice is amazingly beautiful though we haven't had time to explore much yet. Nate and I are meeting all kinds of people from all around the world (lots of New Zealanders) which I guess it what happens when you stay in a room with 6 other people!
Yesterday we met up with our friend Laura who is here also for a couple of days. She had rented a car and so we went to a small town called St.Paul which was very toursity but quite nice and then over to Cannes which is very very upscale.
Today Nate and I are just getting settled some and hanging out in Nice so we can start feeling a little more comfortable here.
More later!

Hi Kristina,
I'm glad you got into the hostel and are touring around. I'd like to visit Nice and Cannes. It seems they would be very different from the big city atmosphere of Paris. I'm so glad you are finding so many people to join you in your fun adventure. Your blog is filled with so many good times. I know you'd love to spend more time in France, and I wish you could too. I'm sure you will have many opportunities to spend more time there in the future.
Dad and I went to the Anderson Band dinner club last night. The dinner club was started last year and we were asked to join since we're band parents again. It was lots of fun. Everyone there was fun and are all super involved in band and boy scouts, so we had lots in common with them. It is set up differently than our dinner club. The hosts provide meat and beverages and everyone brings a side or dessert. It makes it easier to host, so we said we'd be happy to host one. This group of people will be fun for us.
We look forward to hearing more about the south of France.
Love, Mom
