It has been a while since my last entry. Finals are over (yay!) and the past week or so has been full of preparations for the trip. I only have a few days left and I'll be on my way.

I found out when I returned to Austin that I will be living in a homestay while in Paris. I'll be living with an older lady who has two sons who visit occasionally. For me, this is an ideal living situation and I am hoping this will help me get the extra French pratice that I wouldn't have gotten staying in a dorm. The other plus is the location. The apartment is only a few blocks away from Notre Dame and very close to the Metro.

Days until departure: 4!!!
