Our departure from Atlanta was delayed for a day due to severe weather on the East Coast. We caught the same flight the next day. After arriving in London, we proceeded to our hotel Pembrisge Palace which we had booked on the internet based on its good ratings. Pembridge Palace Hotel

 We were greatly disappointed in the accommodation. After checking in, we did the usual London stuff visiting some of my old haunts from my business visits there in the early 1990s. The next morning we went to Victoria Station to catch the morning train to Colchester.
