We arrived in the evening at Agnes Water; a day late - as we forgot to book our bus in all the excitement of Fraser Island! Silly sausages! On arrival we were really disappointed - not because of our hostel, but because we couldn't spend more time there. The hostel was amazing, lush wooden but modern cabins set in gorgeous gardens with a lake at the front of it! We spent our only day there playing vollyball and lazing by the pool as the surroundings were just so relaxing (and we were a fair way from the town) In the afternoon we had booked a Scooteroo tour of the town. We drove around the town in a convoy of around 30 or so others all on Harley styled scooters with huge handlebars!!!! They looked amazing, eventhough the bikes themselves were quite small (the photo's are taken at a good angle!) We toured around and spotted wild kangaroos, then watched the sun set over the ocean (one of the only place you can see this on the east coast) it was gorgeous. Before catching the night bus to Airlie Beach that evening.
