Apparently the scream we heard the evening before was also heard by others one floor down, so presumably one floor up as well. Freaked many of us out so it turns out.
Today we decided to head out and drive ATV's or Quads for a couple hours. Got some great photo's of everyone having a great time. I swear there's no shocks on those puppies though. Wow, talk about a rough ride. We did have a lot of fun. Two folks from China who've obviously not ridden an ATV before. The gal was better than her male companion. Also had 3 fella's from Israel who were trying to impress us Canadian gals, even though one of them tipped his over. Heheh...then some of us got riding and they soon realized their efforts were fruitless cause we also knew how to ride them
Had fun driving on the opposite side of the road. Going through a few smaller communities to get to other view point areas on different parts of the Island. Our guides were great guys. We were a wee bit disturbed at the main take/drop off point cause they had a monkey tied up to a post with little room for moving about. Not a big fan of seeing that, but it's part of the tourist industry here.
After a great day of that, we decided to hit the beach yet again. Had some amazing rain storms at night, but it's been sunny with very partial clouds (good thing) throughout our stay. Today was a very hot one and we couldn't wait to feel the Andaman Sea breeze. Was nice and relaxing. Phoned Tamara and told her we'd all meet her down at Jasmine's bar. I'm usually up front in the Tuk tuk explaining to the drivers where we're going, so feel like a bit of a guide. I think folks are comfortable on their own now, so we can Truly Vacation - yaaaay!!! We've become second hand smokers again which really, really sucks but very grateful everything is open air and our friends are aware of the discomfort.
Jasmine suggested a spot to go for a bite to eat, so we took her advice and it was soooo good. The view was something else. We knew it would be a good spot cause it was a Thai person who suggested it. It was along the road and looked small, but opened up at the bottom. Very cool and great dinner.
Decided to go back to the bar beside our hotel (Komma) for a night cap. We were all pretty tired from the day's festivities. We had another great nights sleep - WOW....we'll see what the next day brings. All for now.
