Well, remember that candy store Julie and I got two of everything from?  We went back and got our own bags today.  We made a rule that we can only go every other week.  I'll be surprised if we actually stick to it.
Tuesday afternoon Julie and I discovered that you can buy water bottle sized tinto veranos at the supermarket.  Of course we had to buy one each.  I also had my first Alhambra beer.  I figured I had to try it since Granada and the Alhambra go hand in hand.  The beer tasted different, it was okay I guess.  That night I met some friends at a tapas bar called POE.  Afterwards, we went to the salsa club Salsero Mayor for a little bit, and then to the disco Mae West.  It definitely was not as crazy as last weekend, but still fun.
I have been going out with the kids in my Intensive Language Course class at night so we are all either awake and with it, or completely dead.  Today was one of those dead days.    Inma, the teacher I really like, realized that the five of us who first off actually made it to class, and secondly managed to get there sometime between 9AM and 12PM were completely worthless.  As a result, she told us we were going on an excursion.  She took us to the very top of our school building to a tiny room with a small walkway and railing outside around it overlooking Granada.  It was gorgeous!  The sun was shinning and I could see the Sierra Nevada so clear.  Granada is surrounded by mountains, I love it.  I asked Inma if it was one mountain range that surrounded Granada or more.  She pointed out the Sierra Navada and said the others were just a small mountain range.  That night Julie and I decided to lay low and walk around town.  I found a shirt for only 2.30 euros!  We discovered a bunch of small cafés that we want to try sometime before we leave.  We stopped in a mini-mart and spent about 45 minutes looking at all the different foods.  When we finally decided what new treats to buy the guy behind the counter was laughing at us.
