First things first, for breakfast Maria gave us cereal!! It looked and tasted like Corn Flakes, and the milk was fine too! I was relieved because I don't think I could survive five months with no cereal. Today we had our "examen" to determine which language level we were at. There was a writing, grammer, and oral part. Overall, it was not hard and it's not like they could send us back to America now! Julie and I did not know what time anything was at or even how to get to the school. We decided 9AM sounded good and Hecho walked us there. The building is a 20 minute walk from our casa. After the exam we walked around Granada with four other girls from ISU. Surprisingly we did not get lost! We made it back to our casa by 2:30PM for lunch. We ate soup, pan, chicken and beef in a sauce, and French fries. After that I experienced the famous siesta! Mine lasted from about 3PM to 6PM, only because Julie and I were meeting a few people at 6PM to go check which class we were in for the next 3 weeks. Of course, they were not posted. We all decided to go out for a drink that night. We met at 10:30PM, which I learned is similar to 5PM in the United States. We went to a bar called Martini. It was a calm, but fun night.
