I made it! Julie and I did have a few mishaps along the way though. The eight hour plane ride went very smoothly. After arriving in Frankfurt, Germany and making it to our gate we heard that we missed the bus ride out to the plane; therefore, we missed the plane. We found the correct desk and got on the next plane out to Madrid, which left an hour later. Once we landed in Madrid we were put on a waiting list for three different flights out to Granada. Luckily we got on the first one, so we only waited about an hour. We know our luggage made it to Madrid, but since we were on different planes than planned and switched airlines, it got a little lost. The airport knows and is suppose to call or drop it off when they find it. I am hoping that is soon because Iīm running out of clothes. I am set on toiletries though - thanks mom! For everyone traveling overseas, pack a good carry on - seriously. After the whole luggage deal we literally walked outside, got in a cab, gave him our address, and told him in spanish to take us there since the university office was already closed. The car ride was only 20 minutes and we made it to our casa by 6:30PM Spainīs time. We pushed the buzzer for apartment 1D and prayed they were home. They were and she buzzed us in!
