Hi,
We arrived in Costa rica and drove to the Arenal rainforest which has a volcano. Costa Rica is amazing!!! It is so lush, green and the people here are so nice. We are staying at the lost Iguana a great little hotel.
Yesterday we hiked to the hanging bridges and did a 2 hour hike though bridges that were over 200 feet high through the rain forest it was incredible! We saw a baby snake ( non poisonous), a humming bird nest which had an egg and a baby humming bird in it.

Today we went to the sky trek which is a tram that takes you above the rain forest and then you get do to 7 zip lines to get down. Donīt worry mom it was not like bungee jumping. I think more fun :) You are flying up to 50 miles above the tree tops, it was very cool.
We are now back in San Jose and awaiting the shuttle to pick us up for our trip to Torteguerro for the volunteer work. Not sure of Internet status but will update the log if there is one.
Hope all is well and keep tuning in must get to bed we have a 5:00am wake up call

you guys are brave
Okay -- so I was feeling my heart rate increase a little when reading about Justin's octopus friend and felt a little squeamish when Court metioned the 'non-poisonous' snake. But NOW you are soaring over the Costa Rican rainforest on ZIP LINES!?!?!??!? I think I might faint. I guess I didn't realize what a wuss I was until I started reading about your adventures!

Keep it up...I will live vicariously through your entries and when you tell me how amazing it is...I will take your word for it :)
