So for anyone waiting on pins and needles, I ended up going out tonight. I was chatting with this local guy who told me about a party called PANN. He said there was going to be a good crowd, so I headed on over. I actually almost didn't get in because I didn't have a ticket and they were sold out, so I hung out outside the door, asking random people if they had an extra ticket to sell. Thankfully one girl did, but she didn't have change so I paid €10 for a €6 ticket. No big deal, really.

I had a blast at the party. Rockin' music (they played a whole bunch of 90's stuff, too, like Spice Girls [I got to teach a couple girls the dance to "Stop"] which, I'm sorry, I'm a sucker for dancing to 90's music, even stuff like the Macarena and "Cotton Eye Joe") and a really great crowd. I even got a compliment on my dancing. Yay! Definitely the opposite of London, where a guy insulted my dancing. To each his own, though.

After a long night, the local guy, GJ, (he actually works as part of this gay group and they had a boat in the parade) even walked me home. I'm definitely grateful for that because I don't know how I would have managed otherwise. He lives pretty close to my hostel, so I didn't have to feel guilty for inconveniencing him. We had a great convo, as he's a rather nifty guy. He's even friends with Simple Plan. Not my taste in music, but it's still cool. GJ invited me to a party that happens on Sunday nights tomorrow, so I'll be checking it out, I think.

Anyway, tomorrow is a long day, what with laundry, the closing Pride party, and the night party to go to, so it's time I went off to disturb my dormmates by coming in and going to bed.
