So it's evening of my first full day in Stockholm. I've called it the Land of Hottness not only because of the attractive people but, damn, is it ever hot here! Serious! It's going to be like this all week!
So, today I spent a good few hours doing laundry. Not the most exciting thing in the world. Afterward, however, I headed to the city centre and got my EuroPride pass and dogtag. They're really nifty, so look up the dog tag! I did a little window shopping and ended up eating at a gay restaurant called Torget. I went there because I'm going to a party tonight and the pre-sold tickets were significantly cheaper and since Torget was selling them, I thought I'd do supper at the same time.
I ended up having an awesome meal at Torget (a club sandwich with wine) and I chatted with this older Swedish couple for a bit
I nabbed some pictures around Stockholm, but not a tonne. Kevin, I took a picture of a Kate Ryan poster. She has a concert here, but it's on the day I leave, so I can't go. I thought I'd at least get a picture of the poster. Hopefully you (and maybe Amanda) will remember who I'm talking about.
Sorry to cut the entry short, but the computers are in the kitchen here and it's incredibly hot. After 5 minutes I'm already sweating.

. They'd been together for 30 years! That's definitely not common for the gays. So that was awesome. After they left, an American and a Dutchman sat down next to me and we started chatting. We had great convo and it turns out they'll be at the party tonight, too.I nabbed some pictures around Stockholm, but not a tonne. Kevin, I took a picture of a Kate Ryan poster. Hotness and dog tags, neato! It sounds like Europe is full of little cafes where you can have a sandwich and drink some wine. And the people seem nicer (and hotter) for your liking, which is great to hear.
Can't wait to see the pics you got today, and of course I remember who she is.
The weather ain't as hot as it probably is over there, but we got some nice rain and wind, so THERE!!!
Hope you have fun at the party and get your dog tag jingled a little ;)
Dog Tag
Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. lol =) Thanks for the good wishes, though!!
